Hey Dr. Shevy,
Hope finals week is going well for you. Here is my final project website: Cupacabana.
After doing the presentation in class I noticed I had a lot of work to do. I worked a lot on the structure of my home and sub pages. It's still not perfect. It's kinda blocky and I would like it to flow more. If I had more time I would have done pages for the "contact us" "merchandise" ect. I made it into a christmas theme to fit the holiday season right now instead of the multitude of colors that I had before. I also tried to use more "white space". I found that I had to a second css page for my sub pages just because they were so different from the main page. I added more images to "liven" up the site. I think I should have made the images clickable too. But I did associate the sub pages with their icons by changing the home icon (the coffee cup) to the icon that matched the sub page. I don't know if it really works, I would have liked to test my site one some students to see what their opinions would be about changing the home icon each time. Not going to lie. Sometimes I just broke down and used code on the pages instead of making it on the css page. It was just a lot easier sometimes. I didn't run into too many problems using Expression Web. I just wish I could have the image in my mind to make a super cool site. Thanks for a great semester! I wish you well on all your future adventures. I will make sure to add you on facebook within the next couple weeks.
Sincerely,
Alyssa Fenske

Coffee Page
Hey Dr. Shevy,
Just go to http://myweb.nmu.edu/~afenske/maincoffee.html
Thanks for all the help!
I would have liked to have added a column on the right but I didn't find the time. The footer at the bottom is a little bigger than I would like but I am having trouble resizing it (frankly I had trouble making a second table until I made it a class) I would like there to be thin lines dividing the cells in the main table. Plus I think I might have a little too much in the code on my main page that could have gone to the css page. Other than that I like the way it turned out.

New Job=Stress and Joy
I got my first TV job! Starting January I am going to be the La Crosse Bureau Reporter for WEAU-13. So now the fun part begins. I am looking for someone to sublease my current apartment, which means I have to do showings. I have to look for an apartment in La Crosse and hope that I can get one around the time that I want to move in. Plus I have my school work to worry about because if I don't pass I don't graduate. (Though I have calculated that in all of my classes if I get F's on everything that is left I should still pass). Will, my boyfriend, is being very supportive in all this and he even got an interview with Michigan State for medical school. So far so good, but I need to learn to just take a breather and realize that it will all work out in the end somehow or other. I am soooo happy to have this new job! All this hard work is going to pay off. :)

Strategy-Coffe Shops
Dr. Shevy this blog is for you.
Strategy:
Target audience: Coffee Drinkers, people who visit places like starbucks, coffee shops, Vacationers coming to Marquette MI, residents of Marquette MI.
Goal: To inform and give access to my target audience about my coffee shops in Marquette MI.
The site will be a webpage about coffee shops in Marquette. I will list the different options of the different stores. I will rate each shop on a variety of levels such as choice, quality, and atmosphere. It will also give location of each store and links to their homepages if they have one.

Reporter Reel
This is it, this is the one! This is the final version of my demo reel. After three internships I am confident in my skills as a reporter. I can now shoot, write, and edit with ease. I am happy to almost be done with school. (I graduate on December 17th 2011) Who knows what the future holds, but MAN I am ready to do anything! I hope you like it.
Sincerely,
